We are currently seeking to fill the following positions:

Program Specialist/Educational Assistant

Autism Partnership and Behaviour Therapy and Learning Centre (BTLC) provide complementary programs and are closely linked. As a result, we are currently looking for staff to fill employment needs within both companies; a combination of Program Specialists to provide 1:1 home therapy through Autism Partnership and Educational Assistants to provide classroom support through BTLC for preschool-aged children with autism and other developmental delays. You will be responsible for implementing the goals in our client’s program plans within the city of Calgary and making a difference in the lives of the children you will be working with and their families!

Part time: Mon-Fri mornings, 15-18hrs/wk
Full time: Mon-Fri daytime hours, 30-35hrs/wk

We are looking for people with:

  • Enthusiasm, willingness to learn, desire to make a difference, and commitment
  • Effective time management and problem solving skills
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Post secondary education in a related field (social work, disability studies, psychology, ABA, etc)
  • A reliable vehicle, valid Alberta Driver's License, and insurance
  • Previous experience working with children, especially children with developmental disabilities
  • Experience with and/or an in-depth understanding of ABA therapy an asset
