Philosophy

At Seedlings, we believe that children develop best in an environment that is supportive, structured, and rooted in evidence-based practice. Our philosophy is to meet each child at their current developmental level and build meaningful skills through purposeful teaching, guided play, and consistent routines.

We prioritize functional communication, social engagement, and independence, while drawing on multidisciplinary expertise to inform every aspect of our approach. Collaboration with families is essential to us, we work together to ensure strategies are clear, effective, and able to be carried over across home, school, and community settings.

Our goal is to create a foundation where each child can grow with confidence and thrive in the environments that matter most.

What Areas Do We Focus On?

Our curriculum is developed and directed by a Speech-Language Pathologist, Psychologist, and Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA), ensuring high-quality, multidisciplinary guidance. Children participate in small-group learning sessions focused on building foundational developmental skills, including:

Our team focuses on meeting each child where they are, helping them build confidence, connection and readiness for school and everyday life. Seedlings offers a gentle, growth-oriented space where young children can explore, participate, and flourish.

Parent Learning Included!

Each group session also includes an optional 30-minute parent support consultation with either our Psychologist, BCBA or SLP. This allows families to learn strategies, ask questions, and stay connected to their child's progress.
